On Friday, November 10, 2017 I got a news eyeglass lens prescription from my ophthalmologist and I went directly to Shinjuku to check out two low-cost optometrist shops that were recommended to me. 1) Zoff, on the 6F of Lumine Est, and 2) Jins, on the 6F of MYLORD in South Shinjuku. They were both okay, but I chose Jins because I thought it had the better frame selection. I bought two frames there (my everyday set and my backups). I was in and out in about 45-,minutes.
After my eye surgery three years ago I knew that my eyesight was almost perfect and that the glasses I continued to use were out of date and, in fact, too strong for me. So on that day I finally got around to addressing the situation.
This is the first time I've bought new eyewear in 20 years.
