(the crabgrass of social media)
In the “About” tab of my Facebook page there is a subsidiary tab called “Details about you.” Within that there are three more options: “About you,” in which I can write a prose description of myself in my own words; “Other names,” in which I can list nicknames, aliases or pseudonyms, if I wish; and, “Favorite Quotes,” which is pretty self-explanatory. Many Facebook users ignore the options for further personal information. I have only met a couple online that list any favorite quotations. Because I read a lot, I am constantly picking new attractive quotations out of the texts I enjoy, so I have re-written my Favorite Quotes list here, just for fun. These are not all my favorite quotations - not by a long shot - only the ones that are currently in my Facebook Profile. I continually add to the list, so it is bound to grow, like a vine or a weed - the crabgrass of social media.
