Chemistry set
I only once received a toy chemistry set as a Christmas gift. It was exciting at first, but I never really knew what I was doing with it, and the excitement evaporated. I guess I wasn’t a good experimental thinker (or Instruction Manual reader). The classic toy chemistry set, way before my time, was the 1950 A.C. Gilbert Chemistry Set which contained a sample of real uranium. Chemistry sets are still popular today, but without uranium, I guess they just aren’t what they used to be.
