Welcome to my blog. This blog is a work in progress about life in Japan and other things. When friends and acquaintances look at it they often ask me what the purpose of the blog is? I say,
"Ah ... self-expression." But that doesn't satisfy many people. They think there has to be some other, more obviously utilitarian function in order for it to deserve any regard. I don't think like that.
I write this blog for myself because it's fun. I write only about things I'm intersted in. It's a hobby, plus it's a good way for family and friends in Canada to keep track of me.
I am happy to get exposure through inquiring hits. Please comment on the posts. I want to post comments that engage me in a conversation. Despite first impressions I'm a gregarious fellow and I like a good conversation.
