Corporal Louis LeBeau, the last surviving main cast member of the 1960s American sitcom “Hogan's Heroes” (1965-1971). Loosely modeled after war movies like Stalag 17 (1953, directed by Billy Wilder) and The Great Escape (1962, directed by John Sturges), it was a completely stupid half-hour show set in a WWII German POW camp. But I watched it every weekday after school throughout middle school and part of high school. It was already well into re-runs in those days. Today, I still watch it on the internet. It was stupid, but funny. I admire the cleverness and skill of writers, directors and actors to tell a complete story in just 25-minutes.
