Sakazen
Sakazen in Shinjuku is the only place in Tokyo where I can buy clothes that fit me, because Sakazen has a Big and Tall section. Now, I am not at all big or tall by Canadian standards, but I am by Japanese standards, so .... I haven't bought clothes in a long time because, frankly, I have too many of certain types: too many socks, too many T-shirts, too many shirts. So, I believe in wearing my clothes until they literally disintegrate on my body before buying anything new. Well, I've had enough disintegration and it's time now for some new shirts. I went there on Wednesday, October 17t, 2018 and didn't like what I saw, so I bought nothing. One thing I know is that if I don't like something in the shop then I will never like it when I get it home. Over the years I have bought most of my clothes during holidays in my hometown, at Marks Work Warehouse. I know that if I borrow Mom's car I can have the trousers and shirts I need in just twenty minutes. I devote a lot more thought and preparation to clothes shopping in Japan.
