This is a re-telling of the Snow White story. Julia Roberts plays the malevolent queen saying “Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest one of all?” I thought it was soooooooo boring! It could have been better if it wasn’t directed by an Indian. But Tarsem Singh introduced a Bollywood dance sequence at the end of the film which was so lame, I thought. Those song and dance sequences are once reason why I despise Indian films. Indians shouldn’t be allowed to make movies.
I never cared much for Sean Bean. I still don’t. Maybe it’s just part of my anti-Irish prejudice. You see, when I was growing up Ireland was not associated with culture, art and genius so much as with unemployment, drunkenness and terrorism. I’m afraid that’s still how I feel. Sorry.
I also hate the way dwarf actors are used in the film.
