Romantic comedy is my favorite kind of movie and Friends with Benefits is supposed to be a romantic comedy. But I thought it was so dumb that I turned it off mid-way. I almost never do that, so the fact that I did is very condemning.
Male-female friends in New York City naively decide to try having regular sex together just as a physical exercise, without any affective complications. Idiots! It doesn’t work, of course.
Mila Kunis is supposed to be a terribly funny graduate from the iconic New York TV show Saturday Night Live, but I found her just extremely annoying. And not very good looking to my taste, either. Is extremely annoying what passes for comedy these days? Maybe the film suffered from too many writers. Or, maybe I’m turning into an old fogy.
It certainly is a piece of crap film.
